So far as the committing of imposition against the publid in such a case is Coucbrribd, the Consequences would not fee serious; but ad the qualities of both of the products are in many cases directly oppbsed to one another, we consider it our duty td direct the public attention to the following facts:— Tbe eucalyptus Oil is recorded tb be of value as a medicanaent in bases of rhedmatism of secondary nature, and manifests a drawing, blistering effect upon the skin. Any blistering brought on by the application of d mfedicarheiit must increase inflamation, and it is therefore evident that in cases of wounds, colds, bronchitis, diptheria, croup, sprains &c., the curative power of bur extract on the named diseases being Unquestionably proved by former publications in this paper. An application of the oil instead of our extract must impair the diseased; The truth of oiir assertion is founded upon the fact that the oil is a resinous product equivalent to common turpentine, its market value being about three shillings one pound weight ; our extract consists of the evaporating particles of the gum leaves, soothing aud healing in its effects, its price being shillings for one potlnd weight. Our extract; the genuine article, is Only made up in one half ounce and one ounce vials; vials, bearing on the labels our trade mark and signature; SANDER ahd SONS, Sole Manufacturers of the Eucalyptus Extract.
