PERSONS having business in the Resident Magistrate’s Court, Kumara, are hereby informed that for the future CIVIL CASES, where the amount claimed does not exceed TWENTY POUNDS will be set down for hearing on TUESDAYS instead of Thursdays as heretofore, W, A. PRELIMINARY NOTICE^ THE Sub-Committee appointed for the purpose of making arrangements for an ENTERTAINMENT for the benefit of the Knmara LITERARY INSTITUTE respectfully announce that they have secured the co-operation of the KUMARA MINSTRELS, the Kumara STRING BAND, and the best local talent for the occasion, and are in treaty with others to secure the best entertainment ever given in Kumara. The date is fixed for FRIDAY, the 29th AUGUST, at the Theatre Royal. Fuller particulars will shortly be published. NOTICE.
