The Vienna Neue Freie Presse has the flowing anecdote of the recent journey through Austria of the new Prince of Buigma. His Highness, accompanied by an adjutant, had a conpee to himself until the train reached Lamberg, where a Polish nobleman got in. The conductor, eager to protect the distinguished traveller from intrusion, hastened to the car door and offered to show the Pole a better place in another car, but the Pole gruffly replied that he was weil enough suited where he was. Then the conductor, reduced to extremities, whispered in the nobleman's ear that the coupee was occupied by the Prince Alexander of Buigaria. " What is that to me ? " replied the Pole in a loud voice. "A Polish nobleman is the equal of a Bulgarian Prince." Finally the Prince and his adjutant took th-ir travelling bags and sought seats in another Oar.
