The Western Morning News states that a new company for increasi g the number of cables across the Atlantic has been formed The incentive to this has been the national jealously of the French people that all the cables should be iu Engli h hands. A new cable has been decided on, and the necessary capital raised. The cable will start from St. Pierre, and be lannded at Sculy, whence branch cables will be run to the English mainland, near the Land End, and to France at Brest. The contractors are Messrs Siemens Brothers, of Westminister, by whom the direct United States Mole was made and laid.
