In the House of lords to day, the Lord Chancel'or introduced a Bill as a Government measure so to supersede one brought in by the Irish members in the House of Commons to establish a Catholic university, in Ireland similar to the London University, with power to grant degrees, and to receive the endowments the Queen's University, which in such case would be virtually suppressed.
