The brig arrived at Newcastle, and there was no traces of their having been on board discovered. - Adelaide, June 13. The motion for a vote of want of confidence was lost by a majority of 24 in favor of the Government. Wheat is quoted at ss. [special.] Melbourne, June 14. The Argus Embassy correspondent telegraphs from Albany, that Berry has made an astonishing statement at Chelma (? Chelsea). He said he had received scores of threatening letters, and was in constant dread of violence, and that the Conservative Press are apologising for such conduct. The Government propose to make the franchise for the Council the same as that for the Aarembly.
