Te Whiti has prophesied that the Governor would visit the ploughed land, and f iiat no result would follow from his visit; that all the European families will be carted from the confiscated lands into New Plymouth by Maoris, after which there will lie great earthquake, which will destiny New Plymouth and its inhabitants. The first part of this prophecy is already fulfilled, tor the Governor did visit the ploughed land yesterday, and no result have followed. The Natives of the district are nearly all at Parihaka. Great uneasiness is felt at Opnnake, and the settleis have resolved that an-
less the Government protect their property from injury, or give compensation, they will do what they can to stop the aggression.
