Any blistering brought on by the ap* plication of a medicament must increase inflailiatioh, and it is therefore evident that in cases of wounds, colds, bron* chitis, diptheria, croup, sprains «kc., power of our extract on the named diseased being unquestion* ably proved by former publications in this pdpel 1 . Colbinabbin (Rtinnymede) informed the manqfacturers that the extract applied twice restored health to her daughter, eleven years of age, who had been rushed and trampled upon by a cow, . ) In November Mrs ReeVes, front the Rifleman’s Arms, Back Creek, brought information of & core of delirium caused by sunstroke, which took place in the family of Mr Ryan, butcher, of Back Creek. The wife of Mr Fickel suffered in the bend of the knee from a swelling which had formed a lump of consider* able sifce, disabling her from attending to any work. She removed the swell* ing completely by a continued application of the extract. The Donald Times, of Ist December, 1877, states i— Last week'the eldest boy of Mr Morgan aWoke.in the night crying with earache.
