Mr Justice Johnston, in reply to an application made to transpose a case to the bottom of the list, objected to do so until the conser>t of all parties and the bar were obtained, as it tended to upstt all arrangements and the regular business of the Court. The Otago people complain that while Christchurch possesses 45 engines to work the Canterbury Hues, Dunedin has only 17 to work the Otago railways.
