News from Cape Town, dated the S.h April, states that Lord Chelmsfnd reach.-d Gurghsto. a on the Gth. His troops encountered a large force of Zulus on the 2nd, and a severe engagement ensued, in which 1200 Zulus*were killed. The British loss is not stated.
