Some excitement was '■ created in town yesterday, by the report that the body of a child'had ..been found in the closet of the local ; Hospital, which, .on investigation, proved to be substantially correct. An inquiry was held to-day;;by M. Price, ,Esq., Coroner, and a jury, at the Hospital, when the evidence of the .Sfurgeqp. to the Hospital disclosed the fact that the b\Vdy ; Vsii that of ; "ai 'stilhborh'' child, 1 f -- of. which tfnfe of the female patients was de- > livered oh', the c sth! of- February Hast, and' that he had late Wardsman strict instructions to bury the body,' which instructions it was: now! ; not been oanitediOut: i ;->/Dhe e'x'-wiardsmanrwasj examined and-Admitted the .'truth, of .the Surgeon's statement, and the 'jury ; found a verdict in accord anceHher'ewith.
