NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the provisions of the " Municipal Corporations Act " relating to " Dancing Halls" will be strictly enforced. Any person, theiefore, who shall, after this datn, use any building, or part of any building as a DANCING HALL, without holding a LICENCE from the Borough Council, will be proceeded against. THOSE holding Assessment Notices irorn the Arahura Road Board can now destroy them, the Roll of that Board for this Year having been rejected by the Judge of the Assessment Court at Goldshorongh, on Friday. Two things now remain for Ratepayers to do—lst, Tq prevent the three Seats which hnve lapsed in the said Board from being filled up again. 2nd, To pay the expenses incurred in this persistent liattle, which dates from last November, anil commenced with the view of blotting out this scandal called the " Arahura Road Board."
