All nominations an d acceptam esmust be made in writing and sent in sealed covers, addressed to the Secretary, Albion Hotels Greymbuth, and contain e ntrance .• . - money, sweepstakes, description and age of horse, snd colors to be worn by the jockey 8. All stakes paid less 5 per cent. Three horses mnst start for each race, or the public money will be witheld ; the Races will be run under the Greymouth Jockey Club Rules 4. No entery will be received unless upon the distinct understanding that the decision of the Stewards or whoever they may appoint shall in all cases be final, and all law proceedings barred. 5. All entries for the Hack Race are to be made subject to the approval of the Stewards. 6. All horses must be ridden in colors 7. In the event 1 of any person entering a protest, the sum of £2 ; 2s must be lodged with the secretary before such protest is considered ; this siim to be fortited should the Stewarts consider the protest frivilons or vexatious 8.
