The German Parliament has passed the Discipline Bill. Rome March 8. Sentence of death has been passed on the perpetrator of the attempted assassination of the King of Italy on 17th November last.
LATEST AUSTRALIAN NEWS. [special.] Sydney, March 10. Last night afc 8 o'clock, off Rodead, the steamer Ban tbool from Newcastle to Sydney, collided with the steamer Bonnie Dundee, which crossed the bows of the Barrabool diagonally. The Barrabool's boats were lowered promptly, but the Bounie Dundee sank in three minutes, and six lives were lost, including the ladies' stewardess and cabin boy. The Barrabool is intact. The Dundee was fully insured. March 11. The Governor embarks in the Emerald on the 19th. Melbourne, March 11. An extensive jewel robbery has taken place at the railway station.
Brisbane, March 11. A rich reef has been discovered thirty miles from Kavenswood.
