The Rev. E. A; Scott will preach a special sermon on "Temperance," tomorrow evening, at Holy TrinitV Church, in accordance with a request made id him by the members of the Good Templars Lodge.

A meeting of the Kaitarigata Belief Committee was held at the Town Hall last evening, his Worship the Mayor in the dhair. Several of the Committee reported that they had found the residents most liberal, and that contributions had been made freely and liberally, amongst the mining community especially.
