T Any blistering brought on by the application of a medicament must increase inflamation, and it therefore evident that in cases qf wounds, colds, bronchitis, diptheria, croup, sprains &c., fhe curatiye powpr of our extract on the named diseases being unquestionably proyed by formpr ip this paper. An application of the oil instead pf our extract must impair the diseased. Tb© truth of our assertion is fqpnded upon the fact that the oil is a resinous product equivalent to cpramon turpentine, its market value being about three shillings one pound weight ; our extract consists of the evaporating particles of the gurq Ipayss, pnd healing in its effects, its price being twenty-four shillings for onp pound weight.
