A NEW TEA.
A flew tea has just been introduced into Paris whitJh has the virtue ot pre* sewing the brilliancy and beauty at early youth up" to the ripest age. Thia tea is, called the Serkya tea. It is composed of exquisitely refreshing aud balsamic plants; growing on the foot of the mountains of Mecca and Libatius. It has the irfdpgf by of" render ing the skin firm and soft* and gives a youthful aud fresh color td the complexion. It is" moreover sd plesant to the taste that that the; Sultans'of' the East make it their faVou'rite beverage. This tea was first discovered] by the Deverish Cheikah Oqier, who made it 'known to fclie Sultan 'Osfflan.l. -.lt Was Choikh-Omer, also, who made* known the celebrated Mocha coffee tohis Sultan. lii France it Was knownd tiring the' reign of Louis XIV., and jierhaps it was owing to this preparation that all the woineii of that period Wei'e yottiig arid ■b.!»iutifnl. The Serkys is made like any * other tea. It is infused for ab'»irt tke niinu'es, arid drank .-hot. The tea* leaves afterwards well "stewed down, fonn an excellat eau de toilette for the bath.
