The tenders invited by tlio Prospecting Association for cutting a bush track (70 chains) from the Greenstone Road to Mignonette Flat, were opened to-day, at noon. There were twenty tenders sent in, and that of R. Flanagan, at Is 7d per chain, was accepted.
We understand that tile Presbytery of Wostland will meet at the. Presbyterian Church here during the week, and the Rev. Mr Root, of Greymouth, and the Rev. Mr Morris, of Hokitika, amongst those who are expected t<\ be present, one of ihe rev. gentlemen will deliver an address on the occasion.
The following unclaimed letters arc now lying at the Poat Oilica, Kumara :—C. F. Arney, Thomas Arthur, 11. C. Eilerscm M. F. Newman, Alex. Sutherland, Edward Scott, John Stewart, Alex.
