No entery will be received '«nfesa‘ J upon the distinct understanding that - the"decision of the Stewards or whoever they ’ may appoint shall in all cases be final, and all law proceedings barred. 5. All entries for the Hack Race are to be made subject to the approval of the Stewards. 6. All horses must be ridden in colors 7. In the event of any person entering a protest, the sum of £2 2s must be lodged with the secretary before such protest is considered ; this sum to be forfited should the Stewarts consider the protest frivilous or vexatious 8. All parties entering a horse*must pay the sum of £2 2s to the Race Fund in order to qualify themselves, entries for the Novel and Hack Races only being excepted 9. In all handicaps three horses must accept or the public money will be with held JAMES PAYNE, Secretary.
