The -wife of Mr Pickel suffered in t,he bend t.f the knee fnan a swelling which had formed a lump of considerable siip, disabling her from attending to any work,. She removed tlie swelling completely by a application of the extract. The Donald Times, of Ist Becerub,er, 1877, states:- Last week the eldest b,oy of Mr Morgan awoke hi the night crying with earache. The extract was applied, and the little fellow was cured and asleep in ten minutes. Mr French, of Coorack station, suffered from, bad earache and pains in Jih.e head. Two drops of the extract ■were put in the ear and some rubbed rouud the ear, and the pain instantly disappeared. ' ' Mr'Ciokey, at Mount Jeffcott, was laid up nearly a fortnight with inflammation of the eyes, and was in great agony. The extract was used, and in few jlays the inflammation disappeared.
