All nominations .and acceptances must be made in writing and sent in sealed covers, addressed to the Secretary, Albion Hotel, Greymouth, and contain entrance money, sweepstakes, description and age of horse, slid colors to be worn by the jockey 3. All stakes paid less 5 per cent. Three horses must start for each race, or the pixblic money will be witheld ; the Races will be run under the Greymouth Jockey Club Rules 4. No entery will be received unless upon- the distinct understanding that the decision of the Stewards or whoever they may appoint shall hi all cases be final, and all law proceedings bai'red. 5. All entiles for the Hack Race are to be made subject to the approval of the Stewards. 6. All hoi’ses must be ridden in colors 7. In the event of any pei’son entering a protest, the sum of £2 2s must be lodged with the secretary before such protest is considered ; this sum to be forfited should the Stewarts consider the protest frivilous or vexatious 8. All parties entering a horse must pay the sum of £2 2s to the Race Fund iri order to qualify themselves, entiles for the Novel and Hack Races Only being excepted 9.
