Evening News : Mr Gieschin, residing near Sydenham Gardens, had a very severe cold in November, could scarcely breathe, and could get no relief. Cured after three applications of the extract. The same gentleman suffered eight years from rupture, and all medical skill proved ineffectual in giving relief. Cured after caking extract internally for six mouths. Mr D. 0 berm aim, residing near the Sandhurst Gasworks, suffering from wounds foe six months, was cured by : the use of the extiact within four weeks. ! A man having his arm bruised : severely at a crushing machine, in Long Gully, applied the exiract, and the ac- : cident did not even necessitate as much ns an interruption in his attendance at work. Mrs Weppner, in Colbinabbin : (Runnymode) informed the manufacturers that the extract applied twice /(■stored health to her daughter, cloven years of age, who had been rushed and trampled upon Ly a cow. In November Mis Reeves, from the Rifleman’s Arms, Back Creek, brought information of a cure of delirium caused by sunstroke, which took place in the family of Mr Ryan, butcher, of Back Creek. The wife of Mr Fickel suffered in the bend of the knee from a swell ng which had formed a lump of consider-' able size, disabling her from attending to any work. She removed the swelling completely by a continued application of the extract. The Donald Times, of Ist December, 1877, states L ast week the eldest boy of Mr Morgan awoke in the night! crying wiih earache. The extract was applied, and the little fellow was cured | and asleep in ten minutes. j Mr French, of Coorack station, suf-1 ferret! from had earache and pains in ; the head. Two drops of the extract ; were put in the ear and some rubbed i round the ear, and the pain instantly disappeared. Mr Oioker, at Mount Jeffcott, was laid up nearly a fortnight with inflammation of the eyes, and was in great agony. ■ The extract, was used, and in a few days the inflammation disappeared. The. Evening Times has reported cures of neuralgia, by the use of the extiact, at Geelong. The extract, which is of a brilliant yellow gold color, and need not be con- . founded wi h the turpentine-like preparation of the gum that is to be found in the trade, lias been applied, with marked bem-tjeial effect, to severe sprains, all sorts of wotunis, cuts, ccaldings, and its chief property —namely, to ein ckall inflammation—accounts for the cures referred to.
