. : : SENDER AND SONS’ j JgtJCALYPTI EXTRACT 1 [ Under the distinguished patronage of Lis Majesty the King of Italy, tit Rome, according to communication i 'received from the Consul-General for i - Italy,‘at Melbourne, upon instructions ; from the Minister for Foreign Affairs, dated 14 th March, 1878. The Extract of the Eucalyptus Globulus, manufactured solely by Messrs Sander and Sons, Sandhurst, recommends itself by the following declaration and testimonials: — Epitome of declaration made before Moritz Cohn, J.P., on the 17th October, 1877, at Sandhurst:—“ Three medical gentlemen had attended the son of Mr Raabe, of Ironbark, for nine weeks, and declared that amputation of the leg injured by an axe was absolutely necessary. At this junction Mr Raabe called on Messrs Sander and Sons, procuring some of their Extract of the Eucalyptus Globulus, and by the application of the same he had the satisfaction of seeing his son within a fortnight out of all danger, and he has now "quite recovered.” Sandhurst, 2nd October, 1877. I certify that I have used Mr Sander’s •extract of the Eucalyptus Globulus in all affections of the throat, inflammatioft; bronchitis, rheumatic swellings, inflammation of the breast after confinement, toothache, and diai'rhcea, and can strongly recommend it in all cases as Stated above.' In November Mrs Reeves, from the Rifleman’s. Arms, Back Creek, brought | information of a cure of delirium caused I by sunstroke, which took place in the ( family of Mr Ryan, butcher, of Back i Creek. j . *' Tlie wife of Mr Eickel suffered in | the bend of the knee from a swell iig | Which had formed a lump of consider- | able size, disabling her from attending ! to any work. She removed the swell-' ing completely by a continued applica- ; tion of the extract. ; The Donald Times, of Ist December, . 1877, states Last week the eldest I boy of Mr Morgan awoke in the night i crying with earache. The extract was i applied, and the little fellow was cured { and asleep in ten minutes. Mr French, of Coorack station, suf-1 ferred from bad earache and pains in the head. Two drops of the extract ■yy&e put in the ear and some rubbed ground the ear, and the pain instantly disappeared. J Mr Ch oker, at Mount Jeffcott, was 1 laid up nearly a fortnight with inflammation of the eyes, and was in great agony, i The extract was used, and in a few days the inflammation disappeared. The Evening Times has reported cures of neuralgia, by the use of the extract, at Geelong.
