Dunedin, January 6, At a meeting to-day of the friends of the late Captain Hughes, of Oreti, who was drowned at Bluff, it was re.solved to raise a ‘ subscription in aid of his family and get the Masonic body to make a similar effort. Lists will be forwarded to ports where Hughes was known.
