LATEST AUSTRALIAN NEWS. Sydney, January 3. The seamen's strike is ended, and the men have resumed work. All wages to the date of the strike are to be paid, and the men are to resume their original position ; those who desire it to get their discharge. The company keep 180 Chinamen, but to reduce them to 130 within three months.
Melbourne, January 3. The Australians first innings closed for 253. The English second innings 103 for six wickets.
Rumoied captuie of one of Kelly's gang, but nothing is certain. The Tanjore has arrived with the Suez mail.
