HARTS OPERETTA COMPANY.

At the Theatre Royal last evening, there was a large attendance on the occasion off ?• the re-appearance, after an absence; 0f,,,, twfelve months, of the Harts Operettar.;.; Company. Absence is said to make " the ; s heart grow fonder," and probably i» the; , truth in this instance, as, from the hearty and enthusiastic reception the members • of this company received throughout the whole entertainment, there could be but little doubt that they were not alone well known, but highly appreciated vocalistic ' • favourites. It would have been, almost impossible for these talentad artists to have found anything more applicable than " Happy Hours " by which to characterise their programme, as from the overture (which in itself is a musical treat) to the fall of the curtain the audience were treated to an entertainment abounding with a genuine humor and expi*ession, devoid of any vulgarity, that could not fail to elicit and merit the hearty appro-, bation which it naturally evoked. Possessed of a voice capable of rendering. either comic, sentimental, or pathetic selections with great expression, Mr Hart, as a vocalist, has powers sufficient alone to attract and delight his audience j.-but, as a delineator and impersonator of various characters, he is unrivalled; There is. also an archness and freshness both in the singing and acting of Mrs Hart, that icontributes in no small degree to the success of the entertainment, and this )ladj.y, in r her "Skipping Rope Dancp,", in.jihel character of a school girl, fairly brought down the house last evening.
