SANDER AND SONS' EXTRACT! I Under the distinguished patronI age of his Majesty the King of Italy, at Rome, according to communication ! received from the Consul-General for Italy, at Melbourne, upon instructions from the Minister for Foreign Affairs, dated 14th March, 1878. The Extract of the Eucalyptus Globulus, manufactured solely by Messrs Sander and Sons, Sandhurst, recommends itself by the following declaration and testimonials:— Epitome of declaration made before Moritz Cohn, J.P., on the 17th October, 1877, at Sandhurst:—" Three medical gentlemen had attended the son of Mr Raabe, of Ironbark, for nine weeks, and declared that amputation of the leg injured by an axe was absolutely necessary. At this junction Mr Raabe called on Messrs Sander and Sons, pro- i curing some of their Extract of the Eucalyptus Globulus, and by the ap- j plication of the same he had the satisfaction of seeing his son within a fortnight out of all danger, and he has now quite recovered." Sandhurst, 2nd October, 1377. ; I certify that I have used Mr Sander's ! extract of the Eucalyptus Globulus in i all affections of the throat, iunamuia-1 tion, bronchitis, rheumatic swellings, in- ' flammation of the breast after confine-1 ment, toothache, and diarrhoea, and can j strongly recommend it in all cases as j stated above. Brief Extracts from the Bendigo Evening News : Mr Gieschin, residing near Syden- \ ham Gardens, had a very severe cold in November, could scarcely breathe, j and could get no relief. Cured after three applications of the extract. The same gentleman suffered eight i years from rupture, and all medical skill proved ineffectual in giving relief. Cured after caking extract internally for six months. Mr D, Obermann, residing near the Sandhurst Gasworks, suffering from wounds fo»* six months, was cured by the use of the extiact within four weeks. A man having his arm bruised severely at a crushing machine, in Loug Gully, applied the extract, and the accident did not even necessitate as much as an interruption in his attendance at work. Mrs Weppner, in Colbinabbin (Runnymede) informed the mauufacturerd that the extract applied twice restored health to her daughter, eleven years of age, who had been rushed aud trampled upon by a cow. In November Mrs Reeves, from the Rifleman's Arms, Back Creek, brought information of a cure of delh-ium caused by sunstroke, which took place in the family of Mr Ryan, butcher, of Back Creek. The wife of Mr Flckel suffered in the bend of the knee from a swelling which had formed a lump of considerable size, disabliug her from attending to any work. She removed the swelling completely by a continued application of the extract. The Donald Times, of Ist December, 1877, states :- Last week the eldest boy of Mr Morgan awoke in the night crying with earache. The extract was applied, and the little fellow was cured and asleep in ten minutes. Mr French, of Coorack station, sufferred from bad earache aud pains in the head. Two drops of the extract were put in the ear and some rubbed round the ear, and the pain instantly disappeared. Mr Cioker, at Mount Jeffcntt, was j laid up nearly a fortnight with inflammaI tion of the eyes, and was in great agony. i The extract was used, and in a few i days the inflammation disappeared. I The Evening Times has reported ! cures of neuralgia, by the use of the ; extract, at Geelong. The extract, which is of a brilliant ' yellow gold color, and need not be con- ' founded with the turpentine-like pre- ; paration of the gum that is to be found in the trade, has been applied, with marked beneficial efl'ect, to severe sprains, all sons of wounds, cuts, ecaldings, and its chief pnipertyr—namely, to check all I iuflauimation—accounts for the cures referred to.
