The Kumara Times. Published Every Evening. SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 30, 1878.

Owing to the lengthy report of the Borough Council proceedings last evening, and the number of interesting cablegram?, we are compelled to hold over provincial telegrams, locals, and other items. The meeting to consider the advisability of holding Christmas sports was, in consequence of the meeting of the Borough Council last evening, postponed till Monday evening next, at 8 o'clock. The Oddfellows anniversary ball last night was a grand success in every sense, but owing to circumstances explained elsewhere the full'report is withheld until Monday.

We have received a copy of the reply of the School Commissioners, and also a lengthy communication from a correspondent re the Kumara Kawhaka water-race, which will appear on Monday.
