A GOOD CUP OF TEA.
There is a good story of some English travellers staying in Venice at an hotel, who took a supply of excellent tea with them, the ladies of the party indulging in their favourite beverage punctually at five evety day. Some more English arrived at the same hotel, acquaintances of the former. The conversation • turned one day on the difficulty of get-, ting good tea in Venice, when the late'* arrivals expressed their surprise at the very excellent teapotful their landlord supplied them with at half-* pa*t five every day. To convince their inc e anions friends, they invited, them' to jjinthem at that hour,bnt afteralohg' delay,'eked out with' various 'excuses.
the landlord was obliged to confess that r the tea supplied to English party No. *~' 2 was simply made by pouring a secoud supply of boiling water upon the tealeaves sent down by party No. 1.
