In pursuance of the provisions cf “ The MrinlCipal Corporation Act, 1876,” and of “ The Regulations of Locril Elections Act, 1876,*’ t, WILLIAM BURFIELD GAl> LAND, Returning Officer for the Boßorigh of Kumata, do hdrdby give priblic notice that, on the 2?th day of NOVEMBER, 1878, an ERECTION of a person to fill an ordinary vacancy Occurring in the office of MAYOR of the said Borough will be held ; And I do appoint the Hown Clerk’s Office, Kumara, on the 10th diy of NOVEMBER, 1878, at the horir of noon, as the place and time for the NOMINATION of CANDIDATES for the said Office : And I hereby further notify that all candidates are required to deposit with me the sum of ten pounds, in pursriance of section 52 of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1876.
