The Extract of the Eucalyptus Globulus, manufactured solely by Messrs Sander Sandhurst, recommends itSeUmy the following declaration and testimonials:— Epitome of declaration made before Moritz Cohn, J.P., on the 17th October, j 1877, at Sandhurst: —“ Three medical gentlemen had attended the son of Mr Raabe, of Ironbark, for nine weeks, and declared that amputation of the leg injured by an axe was absolutely necessary. At this junction Mr Eaabe! called on Messrs Sander and Sons, procuring some of their Extract of the Eucalyptus Globulus, and by the application of the same he had the satisfaction ot seeing his son within a fort- j night out of all danger,'and he has now j quite recovered.” | Sandhurst, 2nd October, 1877. I certify that I have used Mr Sander’s extract of the Eucalyptus Globulus in all affections of the throat, inflammation, bronchitis, rheumatic swellings, inflammation of the'breast after confinement, toothache, and diarrhoea, and can ; strongly recommend it in all cases as' stated above. Cured after j three applications of the extract. j The same gentleman suffered eight I years from rupture, and all medical j j skill proved ineffectual in giving relief. . Cured after caking extract internally I for six mouths. j ' Mr D. Obermann, residing near the ; j Sandhurst Gasworks, suffering from wounds for six months, was cured by the use of the extract within four I weeks. J A man having his arm bruised ! severely at a crushing machine, in Long , Gully, applied the extract, and the ac- ! cident did not even necessitate as much ! as an interruption in his attendance at work. j Mrs Weppner, in Colbinabbin : • (Runnymede) informed the maunfac- i 1 turers that the extract applied twice restored health to her daughter, eleven years of age, who had been rushed and j trampled upon by a cow. : In November Mrs Reeves, from the ! Rifleman’s Arms, Back Creek, brought i information of a cure of delirium caused . by sunstroke, which took place in the I family of Mr Ryan, butcher, of Back | Creek. | 'I he wife of Mr Eickel suffered in ; ' the bend of the knee from a swelling ! j which had formed a lump of consider- j • able size, disabling her from attending ito any work. She removed the swelli ing completely by a continued appiica-, tion of the extract. j The Donald Times, of Ist December, | i 1877, states Last week the eldest ' 1 boy of Mr Morgan awoke iu the night j crying with earache. The extract was ■ applied, and the little fellow was cured ; and asleep in ten minutes. j Mr French, of Coorack station, suf- j j ferred from bad earache and pains-in ! j the head. Two drops of the extrlrcl; i ! were put iu the ear and some rubbed I ■ round the ear, and the pain instantly | j disappeared. , | Mr Choker, at Mount Jeffcott, was ! laid up nearly a fortnight withinflammation of the eyes, and was iu great agony. The extract was used, and in a few . days the inflammation disappeared. : The Evening Times has reported i i cures of neuralgia, by the use of the ■ extract, at Geelong. ; j The extract, \yhioh is of a brilliant; j yellow gold color, and need not be con- ■ j founded whb the turpentine-like preI paratiun ol the gum that is to be found iu the trade, has been applied, with marked beneficial effect, to severe sprains, j all sor.s of wounds, cuts, scaldings, and I i its chief property—namely, to ch-ckall ! I inflammation—accounts for the cures j preferred to. An equally important quality of the extract is its efficacy as a , disinfectant.
