The House will probably prorogue oil Thursday. The consideration of the' report of the managers of both Houses oil the amendments by Council in the Electoral Bill was placed-at the bottom of the Order Paper. October 30. In the House last night, on resuming', Mr Montgomery continued the debate' in support of the amendment that the financial year should terminate on the 31st March. He referred to the system' in the House of Commons in respect to supply votes. The Hon; Treasurer said the' Go'verriwould make the financial year terminate on the 31st March, 1880, and Parliament could meet about the middle 1 of April. The session need Hot last longer than three months. Mr Montgomery then withdrew his 1 resolution. .
