Cured after! ihree applications of the extract. The same gentleman suffered eight years from mipture, and all medical «kill proved ineffectual in giving relief. Ciured after taking extract internally for six -months. i Mr EL Obenaaann, residing near the Sandhurst GJafiwoivks, suffering from : wounds fo** sis: •mouths, was cured by the use of t%e extract within four : weeks. A man . having his arm bruised at a crushing machine, in Long Gully, applied the extract, And the ac- j: cident did not even necessitate as much i. as an interruption in his .attendance at i •work. I Mrs Weppner, in Colbioabbin \ informed the manufac- \ turers that the extract applied twice j restored health to her daughter, eleven ' years of age, who had been rushed and trammed upon by a cow. In. November Mrs Reeves, ifrona the Rifleman's Arms, Back Creek, brought information of a. cure of delirium caused by sunstroke, which took place in. the family of Mr Ryan, butcher, of Back Creek. The wife of Mr Fickel suffered m the bend of the knee from a swelling which had formed a lump of considerable size, disabling her from attending to any work. She removed the swell- j tng completely by a -continued applica- j iion of the extract. The Donald Times, of Ist December, i 1877, states;—Last week the eldest boy of Mr Morgan awoke in the night crying with earache. The extract was applied, and the little fellow was cured and asleep in ten minutes. Mr French, of Coorack station, sufferred from bad earache and pains in the head. Two drops of the extract were put in the ear and some rubbed round the ear, and the pain instantly disappeared. Mr Choker, at Mount Jeffcott, was laid up nearly a fortnight with inflammation of the eyes, and was ingreat.agphy. I The extract was used, and in a few' days the inflammation disappeared.','.';.' ] The Evening Times has ; reported' N3ures of neuralgia, by the use of lh<s ;. extract, at Geelong. ; \The extract, which is of a brilliant '\ yellow gold color, and need riot be con- j founded with the turpentine-like preparation of the gum that is to.be foundin the trade, has been applied, with, marked beneficial effect, to severe sprains, all sorts of wounds, cuts, scaldings, and its chief property—namely, to cluck all iuflammatiou—accounts for the cures referred to.
