HOSPITAL COMMITTEE.
A meeting of the Hospital Commit* tee was held in the C6an(jil'(Camber last evening, at 8 o’clock. Present; Messrs Pollock (in the chair), Anchor, Garguillo, J. Scott* Everett, M»&enzic*, Marshall, Mnldoon ; and Todd. The minutes of the pireVioita meeting were read and confirmed'. A report from the Warderwfls read and received. .. It was resolved that the Warder be instructed to discharge the two patients mentioned in his report as being no longer necessary to' ,be treated in the Hospital.' It was resolved that ..for the future all patients seriously injured and requiring the immediate attendance of a physician, will be sent at" orice, if able lo stand the journey, either to the Greymouth or Hokitika Hospital, until the arrival of the doctor appointed to the local Hospital, , It was also resolved that the Uuilding Committee visit the new Hospital, with a view of altering the. dimensions ,of the kitchen, and that they communicate with the architect with regard to same. ■ • Mr O’Flaherty was proposed/ as a a member of the Committee. . A committee of seyen (five to form a quorum) were, by a resolution vto that elfect, appointed to frame Bye-laws; and Messrs Scott, Todd, Everett, Mu - doon, Pollock, Anchor, and M*Kenzi.e were appointed. • ...
