The steamer Tararua last night on the. run from Nelson to Westport got aground for four hours at the spit close to where the Queen Bee was wrecked. Christchurch, September 17. James Smith has been committed for trial on a charge of attempting to set fire to two cottages in Chiistcburch, the property of Dr Sims.
