[to the editor.] Sir —Re business licenses, in conclusion, allow me to ask what will be the use of the invisible propellers (which by the way do not appear at present to be very securely fixed to the Government wheel) of tantalising traders by dragging them from their business to Court when the penalty clause of the Act has a covering proviso I—l am, &c., Wax. end. [Me should strongly advise our correspondent to plead the covering proviso, when through the agency of those iuviMole propellers he has an enforced interview with our worthy magistrate; their uses thm will no doubt be understood, —Ed.
