One large factory was recently blown up. t The military situation aR regards Russia and Turkey appears to be improving. The attitude of the Russian army in the. neigborhood of Turkey is less menacing, while the Turks have been diligently employed during the past few days, in multiplying and strengthening, the defences around their capital, so that any attempt on the part of the Russians to seize the citv would certainly, provoke a stubborn resistance. Intelligence conies, from Armenia to the effect that the Russians are moving in eonsidm-.vile force into the district adjoining Bateum, with the intention apparently to attack the place if it should not yield peaceably.
