KUMARA PROSPECTING ASSOCIATION.
The second meeting of the members of this association, was ’held'yesterday afternoon at . the Council Cham hers. Present : Messrs Cuming (in the chair), Han na, Anderson, and Wylde. The following gentlemen were added to the Committe r, Messrs Todd, Ancher, George, and Selous. These also took their seats ■ ■ . The Secretary road a copy of a letter he had written to the Minister of Lauds in refernee to the aid offered by Guvec meat to prospecing parties, which was approved of.

The meeting: then adjourned until Tuesday next at 2 p.m.
