An accident occurred to the Patea coach when coming into town this evening about half-past fqur. When ahout five miles from town, .growing dusk, a swagauiiin started from the side of the

road and frightened the horses, which plunged and swerved, overturning the j coach against the bank on the side of l the road. Captain Marshall, A.C., was I vpilently thrown out and his shoulder dislocated. He received other injuries, but not dangerous. Another passenger had a rib broken and scalp wounds.
