IURE VOLATILE EXTRACT EUCALYPTUS GLOBULUS. The Extract of the Eucalyptus Globulus, manufactured solely by Messrs Sander and Sons, Sandhurst, recommends itself by the following declaration and testimonials;— Epitome of declaration made before Moritz Cohn, .LP., on the Nth October, 1877, at Sandhurst:—"Three medical gentlemen had attended the son of Mr Raabe, of Ironhark, for ri-ine weeks, and declared that amputation of the leg injured by an axe was absolutely necessary. At this junction Mr Raabe «alled on Messrs Sander and Sons, procuring sorae of their Extract of the Eucalyptus Globulus, and by the application of the same he had the satisfaction of seeing his son within a fortnight out of all danger, and he has now -quite recovered." Sandhurst, 2nd October, 1577. I certify that I have used Mr Sander's •extract of the Eucalyptus Globulus in all affections of the throat, inftammation, bronchitis, rheumatic swellings, inflammation of the breast after confinement, toothache, and diarrhoea, and can strongly recommend it in all cases as stated above. Brief Extracts from the Bendigo Eveniug News:— Mr Gieschin, residing near Sydenham Gardens, had a very severe eold in November, could scarcely breathe, and could get no relief. Cured after three applications of the extract. The same gentleman suffered eight years from rupture, and all medical «kill proved ineffectual in giving relief. •Cured after taking extract internally for six mouths. Mr L\ Oberraann, residing near the •Sandhurst Gasworks, suffering from wounds fo»- six months, was cured by the use of the extract within four weeks. A man having his arm bruised ■severely at a crushing machine, in Long Gully, applied the extract, and the accident did not.even necessitate as niueh as an interruption in his attendance at "work. Mrs "Weppner, in Colbinabbin <(Runnymede) informed the manufacturers that the extract applied twiee restored health to her daughter, eleven years of Age, who had been rushed and Ttram|>!ed upon by a cow. In November Mrs Reeves, from the Rifleman's Arms, Back Creek, brought information of .a cure of delirium caused by sunstroke, which took place in the family of Mr Bya-n, butcher, of Back Creek. The wife of Mr Fickel suffered in the bend of the knee from a swelling which had formed n lump of consider--ahle size, disabling I*er from attending to any work. She removed the swell? iiig completely by a eontitmed application of tihe extract. The Doraald Times, of Ist December, 1877" i states:- Lnst week the eldest %>y of Mr Moroni awoke in the night ♦crying with -earaclw;. The extract was .applied, and the little fellow was cured and asleep in ten minutes. Mr French, of Coorack station, «ufferred from bad earache and pains in ithe head. Two drops of the extract •were put, in tficear and -some rubied srourid tihe 'ear, and the pain instantly •disappeared. MrOroker, at Mount Jeffcott, was laid up nearly afortnight with inflammation of the eyes, and was in great agony. 'The extract was used, and in a few •days the. inflammation disMppearcd. The Evening Times has reported -oures -of neuralgia, by the use of the »extract, at Geelong. Tie-extract, wJiich is of a brilliant •yellow ; gold color, and need not be confounded with the turpentine-like .prejparation of the gum that is to be, found in the trade, has been applied, with anarkedbenefieial effect, to severe sprains, •all sorts of wounds, cuts, sealdmgs, and its chief property—namely, to chnckall inflammation—aoconnts for the cures referred to.
