[press AGENCY. I. , Riverton, May 11. Another new reef was discovered on the summit of Longwood, two miles above the prospectors’ c[aim. The ground was pegged off for miles,' v and- is now taken up from the base of Longwood to the top. Very little prospecting is being done-until leave is granted by the Warden. A public meeting was held here last night, at which a resolution was -carried condemnatory granting leases for large areas of ground. The prospectors having been granted protection for their application, are how showing prospects which are exceedingly rich. They report a seam two feet thick. There is great excitement in consequence.
