The inquiry re the stranding of the Chimborazo is concluded. The Board found that the causes were default in the captain steering too close to shore, and in the third mate neglecting precautions during the fog. April 17. The steamer Tararua via Hobart Town left for the Bluff on Tuesday, and the Albion via Hokitika to-day.
