ARAHURA ROAD BOARD.
The ordinary meeting was Held on tbe 20th inst. Present: Mr Sandle (in the chair), Messrs Murphy, and M'Alpine. The Minutes of the.preyious meeting were read and confirmed. Mr M'Alpine moved and Mr Sandle seconded " that plans be made out and tenders called for repairing the drain between Curtis's and Martin's houses in Goldsborough." Mr Sandle moved, and Mr Murphy seconded " That Mr Whelan receive notice that unless the tracks under his charge be put in repair according to specification within three weeks ftom the date of the'notice the Board will determine his contract, and that a committee, consisting of Messrs Murphy, Griffith, and Sandle, with the Secretary, two to form a quorum, inspect the work at the expiration of the above time, and report' to the Board." The Secretary reported' that 'a' registered letter (presumed to be from the County Council)"was Post office for the Chairman, which he was unable to obtain until the Chairman signed for the same. v ;'" ~; The meeting then adjourned to Wednesday, March 6th, at 2 o'clock p.m.
