ST. PATRICK’S SCHOOL ART UNION.
[to the editor.] Sir —ln reply to your correspondent “Observer,” I beg to state that if'he -was interested in the Art Union and true to his assumed name, by reference to advertisements in Kumaea Times, Grey River Argus, West Coast Timesv and New Zealand Tablet, he could have observed that the drawing was postponed till Easter Monday. It is my opinion, Sir, *hat your correspondent is not so much interested as he pretends to be, but if he be a purchaser to the extent of a half-crown ticket, by subscribing his name as such, stating from whom purchased, then I will consider him entitled to further information, and in your next issue, at the expense of the funds, will publish a list of thoseto whom books have been issued, and. amount of moneys received to the present time. If “ Observer” declines to give his name, I consider him an intruder and not deserving of any fvpther l information on the subject.—l am,&c, D. Hannan. Knmara, Feh. 20th, 1878.
