In compliance with paragraph 3 of the New Zealand Gazette, dated 13th December, 1877, the following are the Rules and Conditions to be observed in FIRING FOR THE DISTRICT PRIZES, For the Year ending3lst March, IS7B- - sum of £2B ss. has been granted by the Government to the Westland District, which has been divided as follows: RIFLE VOLUNTEERS. First Set.—£l3 15s; 200, 500, and 600 yards; seven shots at each distance. Cadets.—£s 10s; 100,150, and 200 yards; seven shots at each distance. The .firing of the Greymouth Rangers and Greymouth Cadets will take place at Greymouth on the 22nd and 23rd February.
