London, September 5. A Turkish despatch states that the Russians were repulsed near Kudikoi, with the loss of 1000 men.
A Russian despatch states that the
Turks were expelled from Kudikoi with heavy loss, the Russians losing only 170 men.
A Turkish despatch states that a Turkish army corps from Resgrad is advancing upon Bidla. A great battle is believed to be imminent.
Special correspondents say Sulieman Bey Pasha has finally abandoned the attack upon Shipka Pass. The Servian militia are under marching orders. A public funeral has been awarded Thiers.
Bombay, September 5.. The Turks have evacuated' Sakum Khale. The Russians have captured Soratz. The Daily News says the Russian! were victorious at Plevna on the 31st. Turkish loss, 2000. ' -,
