The Wellington Post sajs :—The revised edition of " Hyms Ancient and Modern" was brought into use in St. Peter's Church, at Divine' service yesterday, ior the first" time, the beauty of the hymns and tunes exciting general admiration. Copies of the hymnal, bound in cloth, were placed in all the seats, free of cost, by the'choir, one for each member of the congregation, the total number'distributed being 600. A Scottish paper says that a bottle of whiskey, 132 years old, has been acid afc Edinburgh for £SO.
