TENDERS will be received at this office up to NOON on TUESDAY, AugußfcUth, 1877, for the following works * in ' ARAHURA ROAD, Repairs and maintenance of the Arahura Road from Thompson's (Arahura Bridge) to the Teremakau River. Tenders must be addressed, to the County Chairman, and labelled outside "Tender for- -—." Specifications may be seen at the Chairman's office. AN Amateur Dramatic Performance, in aid of the funds of the Kumara Yolanteer Fire Brigade, will take place at the Theatre Royal on Friday; the 17th instant, on which occasion will be produced the first time in New Zealand the Celebrated Drama in Three Acts, entitled " MIRIAM'S CRIME" and the Laughable Farce of the "LOTTERY TICKET" concluding with, a Grand Allegorical Tableaux by the Fire'Brigade.
