London,' May 13, The town of Iquique, on the .West C.oast of South America, has been destroyed by an earthquake. ■ The debate upon Mr Gladstone*# resolution has been continued. A majority of the Conservatives go With the Whigs in favor of neutrality. The Liberals are divided, some favoring the dismemberment of Turkey, while others entirely disagree with Mr Gladstone. (Received at Sydney after midnight, - 14th instant.) The Roumanian Chamber has passed a resolution to authorise the securing of Roumanian independence. The accounts of the battle at Reni are not yet confirmed.
Russian batteries at Ibraila have sunk a Turkish ironclad, with 200 men bit board. Official despatches state that Russian troops have arrived at Dadin.
Turkish official accounts State that a Russian army Corps unsuccessfully attacked the entrenchments near Batoiim, and were repulsed with the loss of 40,000 men.
A British squadron is ordered to Port Said.
