NEW ZEALAND LOAN & MERCANTILE AGENCY CO.’S REPORT.
At Ngaruawahia on Wednesday last we held our annual sheep fair, the total yarding being 11,850 ewea, wethers and lambs, and 170 rams People were there to do business, and, with the exception of one pen of aged ewes and a few rams, all were disposed of. Wethers raade from 12s 6d to 13s 9d for fats ; and 10s to 12s for iitores and forward sheep. Lambs ■ Good woolly, 83 to 10s 5d ; smaller wrts, 6s to 7s 6d; test shorn lambs, 8s to !‘s Id; smaller, 5s to 6s 9d; 3-tooth ewes, 158 to 17s; 1 and 6tooth ewes, up to 17s 7d; 2-tooth black face, 12s to 13s; fresh fall-mouth ewes, being annual draft from breeders, 12s to 14s ; aged ewea, 8s to 10s. Rams ; Leicesters, 3 to signs; Romneys, 2 to Ijgns,- Lincolns, 2J to 4gns : Bhropshires, 1£ to 2sgn«; aged sama, 5s to 15s,
